The San Francisco Boys Chorus, director Ian Robertson, just won the Grand Prix Best Chorus at Leonardo da Vinci International Choral Festival in Florence. They also won best male solo (Solah Malik, (boy soprano), Gold medal for best sacred music, gold medal for Graduate Men’s Chorus and silver medal for Youth Groups. The festival has been held in various churches in Florence each with a historical connection to Leonardo da Vinci.
