Please come and support the San Francisco Boys Chorus as they perform the National Anthem for the SF Giants vs the Arizona Diamondbacks game on Wednesday, May 27th! (See performance memo for choristers’ call time).

The Chorus performs the National Anthem annually for public performances and civic events. For four decades, San Francisco mayors have recognized the Boys Chorus as official “Singing Ambassadors of San Francisco,” and frequently invite the Boys to perform for events at City Hall. SFBC is proud to be singing the National Anthem for their hometown team, the SF Giants! We hope to see you all there!

Background: The San Francisco Boys Chorus (SFBC) is an internationally acclaimed Grammy-award-winning non-profit music education and performing arts organization at the heart of San Francisco’s cultural center. Founded in 1948, SFBC is one of the country’s oldest nonprofit choral arts organizations and the largest chorus for boys in the western United States. SFBC’s mission is “to provide music education, vocal training, and performance experiences at the highest artistic level to Bay Area boys from all cultural, ethnic, and economic backgrounds.” The chorus serves over 150 singers from 50 Bay Area cities and more than 100 schools at four Bay Area campuses. The Concert Chorus tours both nationally and internationally and has performed for U.S. presidents and foreign dignitaries.
